footnote 1: 17.06.98 Daniel Dittmar

The trigger compiler requires the complete sqlpl objects
    as an archive.

Specifying all the objects in the description made the
command line for the $AR command too long.

Adding libs to the description led to problems linking
the program. The linker was not able to find
objects embedded in archives embedded in archives.

Now, the contents of every lib given in the
description is extracted and all the objects are added
    to the target archive.
