summary: Terminal output to pause while mouse selection in progress
class: wish: This is a request for an enhancement.
difficulty: tricky: Needs many tuits.
priority: low: We aren't sure whether to fix this or not.
absent-in: 0.52 0.53 0.53b
present-in: 0.54
fixed-in: 7ecf13564a8d716000ce78146d1aaf4422432a4f (0.58)

When selecting with the mouse, it might make sense for further incoming data to be buffered until the user lets go, so that they aren't trying to work with a moving target. This might also be nice when scrolling with the scrollbar.

We used to do this, but we broke it in 0.54.

Patch (needs Unix fettling): 004801c41291$340fb8e0$024d460a@neptune
