map_empty

Synopsis

long map_empty( MAP mapping )

Description

map_empty deletes all members of the specified mapping. This function works directly on the underlying tree structure to delete the members faster that calling map_delete one at a time on each member. The scaling formula for map_empty is O(n) where n is the number of members.

Errors

The errno value is set by system functions when an error occurs.
